Well, he turned into a really emotional empath once he learned about emotions. Half-morphs are not aware of emotions and feelings until the moment they make their first empathic contact with the mortal beings.
Jol was a little bit greedy and became overfilled with all kinds of emotions in a really short time. His sister Urs was filled with only positive, joy and love since the first time she made a contact. Jol had an experience was a really sick and depressed person.

Its not common for male and female of Dhurgalii race to have long time relationships. They coming together few times during the lifetime for reproducing.
After the child is born, parents decide who will take care of it and thats when their relationships are usually ending. One parent is taking full responsibility for the future of his child. Since baby is not depending on it’s mother it can be grown by a male or a female, there is no difference.
Its really rare when both parents are growing their child together, and even more rare that they stay together just because they like each other.
